How Long Should I Leave A Cracked Windscreen?

Image
Your windscreen is the barrier between you and the elements when you are out on the road. It keeps out the stones and debris that gets kicked up by other vehicles that are ahead of you. This flying debris can strike the windscreen and cause small chips that develop into cracks. These cracks can limit your visibility and also deteriorate the glass’s structural integrity. So, you should get them fixed as soon as possible. However, most people only see a cracked windscreen as a cosmetic issue and delay its repair for as long as they can. The question that arises is how long can you drive with a cracked windscreen? Let’s find out.

Pests Slow Down Vehicle Shipment Processing

Pests can be a danger to both people and crops. For instance, stink bugs are a pest that can cause allergies to people and can be quite damaging to crops like wheat. These bugs aren’t found in Australia and New Zealand but they can be brought into the country via shipments. Stink bugs can easily hide in cars that are being shipped to Australia from the US. This is why it has been deemed compulsory for all vehicle shipments to be treated for pests like stink bugs before they are sent out to sea. While it is a good initiative, it has slowed down vehicle shipment processing.
