Usually, they will bid out the work for windscreens to subcontractors. You may find windscreens made by more than one windscreen manufacturer on the same model of car. Car manufacturers do have windscreens made for them to meet their exact specifications. These types of windscreens are called OEM windscreens. You will know that a windscreen is OEM if the car manufacturer’s name is inscribed on the windscreen. The most confusing aspect of the windscreen is that they can be OEM windscreens which are considered original equipment on the vehicle.
